No. They avoid that by raising rates at unsustainable rates far beyond income increases. Is that your solution? Keep raising rates until the poor and middle class are simply priced out?

most middle class people I know are already priced out.

When you work for a small business and you barely make enough to keep your head above water...waht do you do when something bad happens?

Ive been fortunate....no health issues for me and mine....but it only takes one thing to happen.....then what?

No you didn't - his question specifically was what your solution was to the problem caused by ever-increasing private insurance premiums. I didn't see one.

Life expectancy has more to do with medical care than genetics. Here is a graph of life expectancy vs GDP:

You can make your own conclusions from that.

More money = better health care except with the united states when compared to our peer countries in which case me spend way more money and don't get better healthcare.

I never suggested that. I said that's not the reason health care costs are skyrocketing. Emergency care for the uninsured, for example, are far more of an expensive burden on health insurance.

I notice, despite being asked multiple times now, you *still* no solution for the health care problem.

What costs more, paying for their emergency services or paying for millions of people premiums?

I'm looking at UnitedHealth Group's balance sheet and it lists $11.7 billion in short and long term debt.

How is this at all relevant?

employer pays 75%, that is my part. Good point though pgabs, making healthcare national will be excellent for big business profit margins. Good thing the middle class working can take up the slack.

do you think employers will continue to provide an extra $10K or more to your salary as costs rise.
