Which would explain why they're so anti-Israel.

First person to resort to ad hominem typically loses the argument.

Unfortunately for you, I think it's actually the first person to mention Hitler that typically loses the argument.

What about the first person to make a comparison to Hitler.....

Or a completely stupid, general statement that liberals want the government to control corporations..... I guess conservatives want us to give up all of our freedom to private interests? It's scary people actually make such generalizations.... Hopefully you are just trying to troll people and don't believe the things you say.

From time to time we find libertarians on the bbs being somewhat open about their contempt for democracy, but it is usually not made clear and their politicos like the Pauls certainly keep it secret and so do the funders like the Kochs.

A new leading libertarian philosopher a guy named Caplan explains their dislike for democracy and support for plutocracy.
    http://www.salon.com/2014/05/10/lib...yan_caplan_the_rights_next_great_philosopher/

A newly prominent libertarian philosopher finds democracy tolerable but only to the extent that it can be largely a plutocracy dominated by the rich. He finds Piketty and other recent studies showing the US is moving quite rapidly toward a plutocracy quite encouraging and a hopeful sign for libertaians..

The article also talks about other interesting details of like the libertarian yearning for having their own little island state, how there has never been a libertarian state. It mentions how some of their leading thinkers deplore giving women the vote because they don't tend to support libertarianism; how leading libertarians like Ludwig von Mises praised Mussolini since he favored the rich and Hayek had good things to say about Pincohet for the same reason; how one of their leading phiolosophical lihts, Robert Novick recanted etc.

In conclusion the author states. Caplanism also frees libertarian scholars like Caplan himself from being embarrassed about the fact that almost all of them are paid, directly or indirectly, by a handful of angry, arrogant rich guys who fund anti-government propaganda because they think they are overtaxed. Caplanism allows the subsidized libertarian intelligentsia to declare, “Yes, we are indeed spokesmen for plutocracy — and a good thing, too, because a plutocratic democracy is the only kind of democracy worth having!”
