Why didn't the rockets go for Bibby?!

I think people forgot that Bibby got injured for like 2 and half month. You will have to wait a little bit for him to come back in form.

    i agree completely.

good trade for both teams... this year.

however, next year when he's splitting time with acie law they might not be so thrilled. especially when they see sheldon playing big minutes and putting up good numbers for the kings.

i feel that the hawks should've gone after a younger PG, but who knows if they tried and failed to get one.

as for the rockets...bibby would've been great but not at that price. rafer gives you the same numbers for much less.

    Shelden Williams...big numbers?...seriously?

Mike Woodson might not be Red or Phil, or Rudy T but c'mon...it's the EC and Williams can't get minutes with Horford playing C and 65% of the PF minutes being given to natural SF Josh Smith.

Williams may get those big minutes but the big numbers I doubt.

IMHO, the advantage goes to the Hawks who are looking to uptempo and who will have Bibby's contract expiring when they need to extend the Josh's.

Like do we need him anway?

He played his last game as King vs. Rockets, that should be enough.

read my post again, i said big minutes and good numbers.

    i never said big numbers.

he will get the majority of minutes at his position, and he will put up good numbers, not all star or near all star but definitely starting power forward numbers.

I agree it was more one sided for the Hawks because they need a point and could afford Bibby's salary....for us, it would have been nice but Rafer is a little better on defense and cost about 12 million less per year
