Why didn't Morey pull the trigger....

    That no extension had 0 to do with the trade going down. Once the rockets traded landry, the suns was playing super hardball. They basically wanted, chase,brooks,the knicks picks as well dumping barbosa. Dont believe the hype

    So you're saying Rockets shouldn't have paid attention when Amare's agent flat out told them Amare won't sign an extension? How about the refusal to take a physical? Should the Rockets have ignored that little detail too?

    Well if "STAR" players don't want to play with your scrappy team of role players, peddle them off for draft picks one by one & rebuild through the draft. IT'S MOREY'S ONLY CARD LEFT! :cool:

    Hate to break it to you but basically every contract on the Rockets was acquired within the last year, aside from guys on rookie contracts and the big three expirings that the Rockets have been trying to move. Rebuilding has been going on for a year now. The beauty of it is that nobody can seem to tell we are rebuilding because we are competitive, thanks to Morey.
