    Brooks/Lowry
    Tmac/????
    Ariza/Budinger
    Scola/Landry
    Yao/????

Ariza would be a great addition to this team if the pieces were right. However, we need swap Tmac for another All-Star caliber player and trade Battier for a nice reliable backup Center.

He needs to stop dribbling. He might be as bad as yao.

Ariza did great tonight, but his drive is scary. He loses the ball half the time. 6 turnovers. Ariza is not going to shoot 44% from the 3pt line every day, but I'll take it tonight. :)

Yup 43% is terrible. How about we throw AB under the bus too since he had 5 TOs. Too many people just like to hate on people.

I expect Ariza to get going on his new role as starter and being the focal point on the team. It will take time and I believe he will only get better as the season goes along.

He hit a lot of outside jumpers. On almost all his drives, it was a turnover or a terrible forced shot. The Rockets may need to phase out ISO plays for Ariza from the offense. Try to get him cleaner looks off the ball going off screens or cutting to backdoor. In transition, have him run the wing instead of leading the break. Basically, minimize his responsibilities with the ball in his hand.

He got thrown under the bus last year. Ariza is the new whipping boy. Never understand why folks hate on their players, but, meh.

I noticed this too. He may have gotten fouled a few times, but he had so many issues handling it that it wasnt always clear, and thats probably why the legit fouls werent called. I think a one dribble option would be about it for Trevor. Still cant believe he lost the rebound after getting it off the missed Scola FT.

AB0, Trevor, and Luis looked great. Chase and Shane too!

Can they do it against teams that play defense?

We need to do a better job of establishing tempo so these guys can get off easier...

I think that Ariza is doing just fine. He's never been in this position before. Give him more time.

Trevor will be perfect complimentary player to Yao and the next star we bring in (hopefully).

    Trevor Ariza, the new TMac.

Should we trade TMac or he leaves this is just setting the stage for something else for people to complain about.

We could win 82 games and someone would complain "why didn't we win all our preseason games too?" (not this year of course).

Such is the life of (supposed) Rockets' fans.
