Finally, they realized that you can't just hope that a player with Ryans Bowens upside will just hang around. This was the only way! I feel a lot better about our future after this move...

    Yao/whoever
    Bowen/whoever
    T-Mac/whoever
    whoever/whoever
    whoever/whoever

    Money$$$$$$$$$$$

    This is a great signing!!

After all, Rybo is a career 1.4/1.4 player.

    Championship here we come!!

The Rockets have asked me to pull the story since they are not announcing the Bowen agreement until Tuesday. They say the figures are not accurate either, but they couldn't disclose more.

Also, Lance Z is real upset that we leaked word early and has sent 3 emails demanding I apologize to Rybo on Monday morning's show.

    I'll keep you updated.

you know, I was getting worried about RYBO hitting the open market, but now that we've locked him up I can rest easy. I really don't understand why so many people are upset with this move. If you look at the teams that are having fun this time of year, they all have one thing in common, players like bowen busting their butts and making their teams better

    :D

$54 million? Well it's still half as much as Isiah would have given him. Good move!

Man, that's Shawn Kemp kind of money.

Finally, the Rockets do something that makes sense. Bowen is a foundational player for them to build with. Great move. The future has never looked better. I am really excited about this.

You may laugh, but Rybo's new contract will help us get Matrix to town......mark my words.......you can even sign it...just put today's date to complete the legalities.

lol. the first five star thread I've given out for quite a while...

I was hoping the contract would be more like 6 year/30 million though. :D

anyway, good job clutch. and expect guys calling your heads off if this signing gets cancelled because of the early leakage!

I had an idea why Clutch was letting in all these rookies to the board a couple of days before you know what....I just didnt wanna say it. :D

I think Bowen is getting hosed with this deal. He is worth atleast $80 million guaravteed. If we didnt give him an extension, I am sure teams like San Antonio and Pistons would have jumped all over Bowen for his services.

Clutch, be careful... don't get the site shut down because of the Bowen scoop. You know how much influence Lance Z has with Les. His jealousy knows no bounds!
