OP, If you had made any effort to look at the rest of the schedule you would know why. By game 3, the schedule aligns where Sixers-Celtics and Cavaliers-Raptors play on the same day while Pelicans-Warriors and Jazz-Rockets lineup together as well. It's in All-East and All-West schedule rotation in the 2nd round.
The 96' Rockets had to play the first game in Seattle with only 1.5 days rest (and we got blown the eff OUT) after defeating the Lakers . It happens. People can complain about it, but this is the playoffs...they have at least 1 day off between games, unlike back to backs of the regular season. Point being...it sucks, but it has happened to teams and it will continue to happen. Just gotta put teams away asap if they want some time to rest up. If not, tough toenails...that's how it is.
