Isiah Thomas is undoubtedly one of the greatest point guards in NBA history. With that said he has been a disaster as a broadcaster, general manager, league manager and a coach (am I forgetting something?) Last night he did not distribute minutes evenly, no matter how you look at it. Ilgauskas should have at least played fifteen minutes (especially since the team was exploited by size-mismatches and desperately needed two 7-footers on the floor at the same time) and Pierce/Walker should have seen time in the second half. I understand how Michael had to get his due, but neither Celtic played in the third quarter.

"This is my team." Sure, but it's an exhibition that I only watched because my favorite players were in it. The only reason he had not to play either player was his personal dislike of them. He should be careful; last time I checked the Celtics were a playoff team.

Pat Riley should have coached the Eastern Conference All-Stars. Walker, "the greatest power forward in nba history," would have played the whole game

Well it didn't seem like the 3 were happy about GETTING REST. They looked pretty pissed to me. Maybe not...

BUT if Pierce was Jordan's replacement, that means Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson got to play all day?

I just watched them the entire 2nd half sitting there.

    Isaiah Thomas...freezing out Michael.

    Yes...LET BRAD MILLER play forever.

Well he DID get chosen by Isiah to play in the game, and Isiah DID play Miller and O'Neal a lot.

Wait a minute, don't Miller and O'Neal play for Indiana? Hey what's the name of Indiana's coach?

Maybe he was whining because HIS player ruined the game for the East and lost them $10,000 each.

    Hmm.

brad miller played too much. isaiah should have cut miller's minutes in half and giving to Ilgauskas. miller was outmuscled by the west big men. as for pierce and walker should take this to heart and get revenge when they play against the pacers.

do y'all feel isaiah was kissing jordan's feet, hoping for forgiveness?

I felt really bad for Z. I've met him before and he's a really nice guy. He's really talented too, but nobody gets to see him play because the Cavs suck so bad. That's supposed to be the whole point of the AS game; to let talented players play alongside other talented players and show off what they can do. But Zeke just stole that chance away from Z.
