LMAO. that was great. Soft Opening = Open the doors without telling it to the world. Grand Opening won't be til April 1st. I'll keep you guys updated if anything changes.
I better see you fools there. I'll be the only cashier who'll know what they're doing. If you're buying high priced items...I'm not saying you have to come to me, but you'll get out as fast as possible.
Will there be any good discounts for the soft opening that would make it work coming down there? Or will the prices be the same for the real opening?
Soft opening = regular sale items Grand opening = bunch of crazy sales on some things...Like I said, I'll keep you guys posted when I hear anything. By the way, if you guys see me try to strangle another employee...they probably really had it coming
Yea, so I went to the so called 'soft opening' on Friday, and was 'soft denied'. Not open until April 1st I was told!
Miguel posted in the PSP thread that they may have another try at the soft opening TODAY I believe. I think he said the head honchos weren't ready for the opening last week. Apparently Miguel couldn't get his sh*t together in time.
So, Miguel...did you guys have the soft opening today? Or did your co-workers screw everything up again?
Blame the software dept. If someone wants to give me their phone#/email address, I'll call/email them the second I hear when we're opening. As for now, the only guaranteed date is April 1st, which is grand opening. Sorry guys Anyway, if anyone is looking for Lumines for PSP by any chance, we have 12 copies in stock. I already have my copy, that game rocks.
I bet if we show up on April 1st there will be a big sign in the front window reading "April Fools!" and the store will be closed.
So w/ the grand opening supposed to be tomorrow... anybody know any of the deals that are gonna be goin on... i live literally like 3 min away and wanna hop on over if there's gonna be some crazy deals.
I drove by TODAY and there was a big balloon on top of the building that said "GRAND OPENING". So was it open TODAY?
Oh sure...NOW you tell us. I bet all of the good stuff is gone. I wish I would have know, I just had to have a $10,000 hdtv today and wanted to buy it at Fry's. I didn't know you were open so I bought it at Best Buy.
Only thing I can think of right now is some 27ish inch TVs for 80 bucks. Other than that, you'll have to buy the paper in the morning. Sales associates weren't telling us jack. Basically every dept is keeping everything a secret. I have to be at work at 6, so I think we're opening at 8.
just came back did not see any 27 inch TVs for $80, and I looked hard =) eh - some okay deals there's a 120 gig WD 8MB Cache HD for $29 after rebate and there are some good CPU+MB deals (2500 AMD + Abit MB for $149)
I didn't realize the parking lot was so small until I spent 20 minutes looking for a spot. People parked their cars at any curb that was not marked with red paint even if it meant they were parking in the driveway. I guess I got spoiled by the massive parking lots at the other 2 locations. Oh well, since it's only 5 min away, I can easily go back when things die down.
