That's part of the "theme" of the store. Whoever the genius who thought an "oil field"-esque type "theme" would look good is a ****ing moron. I hope the Sugarland one is something, or if not, just a plain looking store. I hear the one in Clear Lake has a NASA-ish look to it. I want to go see just to see what all the hub-bub is all about.
Yeah, I didn't think you'd answer it, but I had to give it a shot. If someone from Microsoft/Nintendo/Sony or a big publisher/developer happened to be a big Rockets fan and was on this board, I'd probably ask them they wouldn't be able to answer anyways. (How many PE's/CELLS are in the PS3? Will Xbox2 have HD-DVD? Exactly what is the Revolution? And will EA buy you?) Let's just say I have no problem asking obviously unanswerable questions to people that are in the industry. I was mostly just curious about the price for the unit. The price is what turns me off and if it will stay like that for a while, I may not remain too interested. Perhaps it is because I view the device more as a gaming handheld than a multi-purpose handheld, and the DS and PSP seem to blow out the Gizmondo in that department, IMO. Maybe if I cared more about GPS and digital pictures, I'd think more about the $420 price, but until I do, I'd be more satisfied watching/listening/playing stuff on the DS and PSP, saving myself $220-$270.
Latest news, I've been moved to the new store. The store will be opening sometime in early April. yeah...that's about all I have for now. The ball is rolling though. We're getting there little by little.
The site you have tried to enter requires Internet Explorer 6 (or better) with Windows Media Player 7 (or better) on Windows XP, 2000, Me or 98. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
what are all those cars in the parking lot for? I was driving past and I saw alot of cars so I was like, "SWEEEEEEEEEEET" and then I went to turn into the store and they had barracaded the entrance with 2x4s Miguel, what do you mean you've been moved to the store?
I was working at the store on I-45 and West Rd. while the store was being finished on the inside. Now all the shelves and registers and computers are set up, and I've been sent to the new store to train the new hires. If any of you are going to be at the grand opening, you'll see me when I ring you up. Actually, I may be a supervisor by the time the store opens. Pretty sweet deal I think. The store was scheduled for mid april. The Opening has been moved up a week, so now we're going to open the first week of April. Going by my best guestimate...I'd say the 9th would probably be the Grand Opening, with maybe a soft opening a few days before just to get the store off the ground. The store is looking NIIICE. Much nicer than the one in North Houston. Not quite as stylin' as the one in Webster, but we have our own style I guess. All the cars in the parking lot are employees trying to get the store up and running. Over 200 people in there each day getting stuff going. It's pretty awesome. Stuff is getting done really quickly now that we actually have people inside doing stuff. I better see you guys at the Grand Opening. I'll keep you all posted.
Jerks. I update again and no one seems to care. > Anyway, you guys take it easy on my Cashiers....as I'll be one of the supervisors back there during grand opening.
Dude, help me out, then... I am looking for a BERG power cable 12v for a USB and FIREWIRE combo PCI card I put on my machine. It says it needs that little cable to supply power to peripherals attached to it. It's this one here. If I don't connect it to power, I may not have enough to light up devices attached. How much at your store?
