Why Delfino is better than Casspi

Yeah Casspi does a lot more per game than Delfino did for the rockets.

Garcia went from awesome to marginal over the summer, or so it seems.

 

More specifically, I'm asking can Casspi create his own shot? No he can not! We have 2 players on the team that can create their own shot. Harden, which is one, and some times Lin and Parsons, which counts as another one. LOL

We need that guy who can come off the bench and can FLAT OUT SCORE, i.e Jamal Crawford of the Clippers. When all else falls, you can put the ball into his hands and he can go get you some points. WHEN THE PLAYOFFS COME, THE DEFENSE GET TIGHTER AND TIGHTER, THE FURTHER YOU GO AND WE NEED PLAYERS WHO CAN SCORE.

A couple of issues with Casspi
1. Shrugs his shoulders with that stupid look after committing a foul
2. Dribbles with his head down like he's going to get to the hoop like Harden, turnover waiting to happen
3. Get's pushed around in the paint like a broom

If he's not hitting the 3 point shot, it's a wrap for him. Doesn't undrerstand defensive rotation assignments.

 

In that second vid he's like a twig!

 

this is my biggest problem with his game. he tends to play a bit selfish on both sides of the ball.

Casspi is only 25, so he is not really a veteran like the 31 year old Delfino.

 

Ill admit i did hate on Casspi awhile ago because he was so damn erratic sometimes. Driving it, making some nonathletic move, and turning it over.

But he's stopped doing that, and he's back to scoring again And I agree, Cisco needs to go. He does nothing nowadays
