Ok, instead of my useless previous post in this thread, let me elaborate.

If you haven't noticed yet, T-Mac DOES make the other players on our team better. This is clearly an MVP-type quality.

    It Takes 5IVE
The Rockets actually win with T-Mac because:

    1. His mere presence on the court gives other Rockets more confidence and hope for the game, especially the younger ones.

    2. He ALWAYS gets someone a wide open look multiple times every game.

    3. He runs the offense better than anyone else we have.

    4. Yao is at ease with him on the court because he gets nice passes and less double teaming.

    5. He can be counted on in the clutch, if not to make the shot, to attract double teams and again leave our shooters wide open.

Those of you who are frustrated with McGrady should realize how much he brings to this team even if he's not scoring 25+ a night and flying to the rim.

In the last three games, we lost by an average of 7 points. But that number is slightly inflated by the fact the Lakers murdered us in the 2nd OT and we kept fouling and they made all their shots in the penultimate Lakers game. So at a guess, if not counting the fouls and the 2 overtimes, I'd say our loss margin would be more to around 2-4 points, especially in the case of the last game. So I think we actually can win the last three games without McGrady, it's just a question when Luther Head steps up his game, who's there to replace Head's offense from the bench?
