I feel a little funny. Is the rockets team really that deep?

Morey said right after the draft that Patterson will not be in the rotation this year. He's just not ready in his development. It's not as much how deep we are as how not ready to NBA Patterson is.

    1. Regardless of record, rookies should still earn minutes.

    2. He is getting plenty of minutes- with the Vipers.

because this team is in win-now mode.....well that's not convincing but trust me, we are in win-now mode.

IF PP is playing significant minutes this season then either, 1) Injuries have hit the front line hard or 2) We are headed for the lotto or both.

Why can't a panicked BBS have thread privileges for rookies?

I feel a little funny. Is our BBS really that deep?

I swear even the people with high post counts are struggling posting threads.

I was actually going to post this as well. So either all the NBA scouts are stupid and Morey truly is blessed or well, you know.

Maybe we just drafted the wrong player. Yes, he should earn minutes, but we drafted him at 14th. If he's skill set, working attitude, or talent, is nowhere near 14th pick, maybe DM didn't pick the right player.

Draft is risky, and no matter how much prep work you have done, it's still a gamble.

It's very simple. Our coach has seen Patterson in summer league games, in pre-season games, and in practice and he feels that playing other players on our team gives us a better chance at winning games at this point. It's as simple as that.

The brown noses here will tell you its because we just have to give Shane Battier and Chuck Hayes as much minutes as possible to win.
