    No, not at all.

Ariza is making the salary of a mid-level exception player. The mid-level exception is an average nba salary. It would take more than that to replace a former star.

Completely disagree. I guess I just prefer to watch the game instead of stats. He certainly is not perfect but he fits the team perfect.

Ariza's at his best when he's not dribbling or posting up. Instead, he should be expending his energy on what he does best - stealing the ball, finishing on breaks, D'ing his man, knocking down the wide open 3, blocking/contesting shots - basicly Battier with quickness and athleticism.

god ariza is the most inefficient scorer in the league for someone who has the ball as much as he does.

I seriously want to shoot Ariza right now. Even if I have to go to jail for that

except he's not as good a 3 ball shooter, isn't the leader shane is, and is better at defending when the ball is being brought up, than he is in the half court.

His third quarter was just brutal tonight. I audibly groaned a couple of times in spite of myself. The whole team got beaten badly in the third, but Ariza was struggling so visibly.

I would have rather paid Von 2 million than Trevor 6.

The only way it works is if Trevor or Shane is traded to make us better, and Morey was stockpiling assets.

Ariza can play defense. He is generally a mediocre shooter who occasionally has hot streaks (even Rafer Airballston could get hot now and then). He shoots and drives way to often for someone that inefficient. BTW, did I mention that he is horrible at dribbling and finishing in the lane? So is he a bad fit? Not necessarily, but he is not playing smart on the offensive end.

Ariza is reaching Rafer Alston levels.

Less Ariza nuthuggers in here than a week ago, though. Perhaps the slow users have finally grasped just how offensively inept Ariza is.

Chase is already better than Ariza.

Please. He damn near won the OKC game by himself. He had another crap game tonight, but I wouldn't say he's any worse.

Trust me, the only guy looking like an idiot is the one boasting about jumping on the hatewagon one game earlier than the rest.

Like it or not, we're keeping this guy for most of his 5 year contract.

So, either keep quiet or give him an offseason/a season with Yao to draw attention away AND THEN assess his worth.
