Ethics violations will never be acted upon as long as Paul Ryan oversees this as Speaker of the House. This is why the leader of this department resigned as i understand.

If the Dems win back the House in 18 they will have ultimate leverage over Trump because of this factor. And it's not innuendo. He's clearly violating the law and there has been report after report on this matter. That would have to be a ton of fake news for all of it to be false.

I think that's why you don't hear Dem leadership talking too much about impeachment now because they want to save their bullets for when they'd actually have the power to use them. There is no hope that Ryan will not protect Trump. The fact that he allows Devin Nunes to try and Sabotage the Russia investigation and violate his recusal tells you all you need to know. I also don't have faith Ryan will draft the articles of impeachment even if Mueller finds high crimes which will shock everyone but me.

Just know these egregious conflicts of interests are there and revisit in 18 if the Dems can win back the House.
