Why are you STILL excited about the Rockets, sans Yao and TMac?

This should be the "end-all, be-all" answer.

im excited about the Rockets, sans Yao and TMac

because they did it before....................................i know its a full season..but im sure Tmac is gonna save us before wen get into too much disaster

 

Every year I get excited when the Rockets season starts. At the beginning of last season it was because of the addition of Ron and the chance to get back to the finals. This year, I am excited for an entirely different reason. We have a whole new team, and we are trying to establish a different style of play.

We can all talk about when Tracy gets back, what big trade we want to see, how good we will be when next year with Yao, in Morey we trust, our limited expectations are for this year, but right here right now this is our team! And every game, we are going to put on that lucky T-shirt or jersey, find that favorite hat, go to the bar, find our spot on the couch, listen to the game in the car, or get to the arena and support our team! We are going to yell at bad calls, laugh at all the stupid jokes by Bill, Clyde or Bull, wish the games were in HD, yell and scream, high five, shake our heads in disgust, heap praise and insults on ClutchFans, talk about our national disrespect, find those new good luck routines, and support our team!

 

Hope breeds excitement.
We all hope that this years Rockets ATLEAST plays spoilers, if not play way better that anyone expect. Beside witht the way that that the scrubs played in the play off, i am excited to see how they play 82

 

At least this year, I won't have to wonder if Yao will be out..........

 

"Sans Yao Ming and Tmac" IS the reason I'm excited the Rockets. I love the way the team is bulit around hard-nosed, often overlooked players (except to us Rockets fans). It's more of a team-oriented game and they always come ready to play hard or not play at all.

 

That's because he's BigShotBob... he's not the star of the boards, but when he shoots, it's a good shot.

I'm stoked, we're lottery bound but finally no more drama or pressure to be relevant.

As a writer this is an excellent opportunity for me.

if Dorsey can somehow get into rotation, it will be awesome

 

I don't watch the Rockets so that they get a reaction from the media like some or most of you, I watch them cause they are my team and NBA basketball is fun to watch.

If you watch the Rockets so that you can see Charles Barkley make a wrong prediction, then the people at TNT or any other television/marketing department are high fiving themselves now.

it's always good to have the NBA back, it's better than baseball.

 

I don't want to see Tmac in Rockets uniform no more.
