I would agree except for injuries.

The Sonics team that earned their good record is not the same team in the playoffs, while the Mavs should have their full team.

We may not have our best team until round 2 or later (hopefully gettting Howard back in). Thus I don't mind catching a break in round 1.

Now it's time to worry about making playoffs.

No need to worry, we're gonna make the playoff.

The main concern is NOT the seeding, but just let the seeding play out whatever way it will. The main concern is rest the guys and have a re-charged, full and healthy roster.

I will wait till the next 2 games. Which is really really crucial. Warrior is not a push over. Lakers gave Spurs a near heart attack last night. Both team play loose, we are timid right now.

I'd much rather play Seattle. In a 7 game series, I think we would own them real bad.

In a 7 game series against Dallas, it would either be a squeeker either way, or Dallas would own us.

But I don't want to tank, I want the rox to show up every game. Losing breeds losing. I just wont be dissapointed to be going up against Seattle is all.

You still think they tanked hornets game on purpose? Man we are not the Lakers with Shaq. We dont have the switches. This is what you get. Like JVG said, we are fragile. Character of a team is largely the reflection of the stars.

Gundy isn't the type of coach to ever tank a game...it's not his style....

I never said we tanked, and I don't think this team has tanked. I just don't want to start tanking just to get a favorable playoff matchup.

I do think the rox tanked a lil in some of the games in the SF era. Nothing major or super obvious, but tanking nonetheless.

I'll say it again: We (and the Kings) are ONE loss ahead of both the Nuggets and Grizzlies. After our 1-3 road trip coming up, we could wake up in 8TH place Tueday morning, April 12th. You heard it here first.

We can't assume the first round will be Seattle or Dallas. It could be San Antonio or Phoenix. The idea of tanking games is completely ridiculous! After 82 games, one loss could be the difference between the 5th & 8th seed. Will someone now please explain how anyone (esp JVG) can think of "tanking" games to get the 6th seed. IDIOTIC.

Memphis has such a tough schedule remaining (SA twice, Mavs twice, Nuggets twice, @ Rockets, and Heat) that I just dont see them catching the Rockets. Denver, however, does scare me. Hopefully they drop 2 (maybe 3) more games the rest of the way and we can hold on to the 5th or 6th seed.

Ducanless SA, locked fourth Mavs are not the same SA and Mavs. Griz was showing up the Lakers this afternoon. They are motivated. On the other hand, we are losing momentum and timid. Talent wise, Griz is capbale of beating SA and Mavs anyways. The only good thing about their schedule, they have to play Denver twice.

Dont forget that Memphis will be without Swift for the next 5 games. That will hurt them a little bit. I just dont see them passing us up unless we totally fall apart (like going 3-5 the rest of the way).

3-5 would lock us in the playoff. Fall apart is winning less than 3, which is possible. I only see 2 easy wins. The last 2 at home when our lives are on the line. That's all.
