A win is a win which is a win. It just so happens that after we were blown out by the OKC that a thread like this is permissible? Suddenly we have to question the "toughness" of our players because of this game? It's ridiculous.

It's bad enough that this GARM get's enough kneejerk Lin threads but now we have to take it out on the whole team? Suddenly, a fix-it-all in a player with attitude is going to invigorate Harden's motivation to defend his man? Is it going to get Casspi and Garcia to make more 3's? Is it going to get Lin to stop turning over the ball or for D12 to look like an actual post player?

We take our lumps and we get better. We're a good team, a talented team and we're as tough as any.

It the main pieces keep changing, then the reasoning is still valid.

Just avoided my Rudy-t heart of a champion quote ? Like I said they don't have to be bullies but just need to play with heart if they ever want to go all the way.

You know why wade did that ? because he know they were soft and no one way going to check him, that carried over to him disrespecting mchale & harden yesterday but putting up the numbers to prove it

They really are excuses. Think about it, I played in high school and I would play ball in my neighborhood everyday, when I was a teenager and in college I played in the gym everyday and I played for my team at the same time. We have one of the youngest teams in the league. There's no excuse for losing that bad. Missing all those free throws? no excuse. I understand they are a good team and we might have lost, but by 30 points? really?

The reason he said that was because

"Never underestimate having the best player on the court, making solid adjustments, playing mistake free defense and John Starks having the worst game of his career" is not as catchy and won't cause the crowd to cheer.

Where was the lack of leadership when we beat San Antonio twice in San Antonio?

    Your selective outrage is comical.

Do we need to run down the list of all of the games that Durant doesn't show up?

Durant is a better player than Harden and Howard. It has **** to do with how hard or flacid he is.

First it's softness, then leadership, now its mental weakness.

Maybe in practice there isn't a crowd yelling at your face, or the sporadic nature of when and how often they occur. How about getting fouled hard and perhaps his arm is hurting or numb.

Why you people can't accept the easiest, most obvious answer that is right in front of you is beyond me.

WOW, I think you just proved my point. So Dwight Howard is shooting half the percentage points he shoots during practice in game because of the crowd yelling at him?? Hmm guess he needs to get them out of his head and toughen up a bit hunh. I don't think you even understand what people mean by soft that's why you disagree, because you don't understand.

EVERYONE is effected by their surroundings, it's how you handle it that matters. Sometimes you have to learn how to handle being on the big stage. That means they have to toughen up.

Well at this point im not saying im right or anything, but I do believe heart, leadership, and mental strength are all tied together and I do see that this particular Houston team has lacked it for two seasons now.

Even when they were mediocre, I always had fun watching the team because despite lack of talent, they played hard and took major offense to getting blown out, whether it be Lowry, or Scola or Hayes etc.

Sorry I can't put that into a stat, its just what I see from body language, facial expressions etc.

Call me blind but there is a big difference in the demeanor and body language of the Pacers and the Rockets, if you don't call that heart, I don't know what it is.

The one time we really showed grit in the face of disaster this season was the first game against the Grizz. We were on the verge of getting blown out, but guys stayed focused and kept scrapping. Heads were high, shoulders not slumped, no I-give-up shrugging or bickering. I thought we'd turned a corner when it comes to fortitude, but I guess not.

I think this team lacks a win at all costs player, someone who burns to win, it seems that most of our guys like playing the game, but also like being famous.

It is a different era though, and it worked in Miami - I guess.
