The simple fact your okay if we "bottom out" is kind of odd to me. Especially after you argument Adelman didn't win enough and that being the justification for his departure. Since you don't care if we win or lose, then could it be you careless who coaches the Rockets? It seems you're only objective here is help Rockets PR. Are you employed by Morey? I've noticed you haven't been once critical of the guy
i was explaining things frm the rockets point of view and i'm ok with it overall because i don't believe they will actually bottom out. however, if they do, then there is atleast an upside. if they miss the playoff by one game again, like they have the previous 2 seasons under rick adelman, then i will be disappointed. if they decide to tank the season, then i will tune out and come back next season when they (hopefully) get a good draft pick. if they tank the season and get a terrible pick and still suck the next season, then i will be upset. my problem with rick adelman is that this was a crap season and i think he deserves the most blame out of anyone. he was proved wrong by moreys trades and he whined about it. his ****ty attitude spread to the players and they were whining this season too. i respect his previous work but he sucked this season, and i'm glad he's gone. i want a coach who is happy to be here. thatrs why i'm excited about the new staff, whoever they turn out to be. atleast i know they will be happy and excited about their new jobs. 3 years from now, if mchale turns into a whiny selfish prick, then i will call him out on it. i promise. conversations need context in order to take place. why would i be criticizing daryl morey on other things when the big issue of the day is the coaching change ??? should i go dig up old threads so i can take shots at morey just to satisfy certain people ??? my objective here is to share my opinion. if that opinion happens to agree with the rockets, then tough t*tties for you then i guess. if you disagree with something i said, then how about forming a coherent counter-argument like a rational grown up ??? talking trash just because you don't like the content or frequency of my posts is childish behavior. are you a moderator ?? so far i have not been contacted by a mod about my posts. i haven't broken any rules that i'm aware of. you don't see me telling people not to post just because i dont like what they say. i don't attack individual posters on this board. i am here to talk about the ROCKETS and that's it. if you don't have anything rockets related to talk with me about, then maybe you should just sit back and have a cup of shut the hell up. if you aren't a moderator, then i don't give 2 flying ****s what you think of me.

Exactly my point lol. You're the only one who feels this way about Adelman 30 transactions in two years and no long term solutions doesn't fall all on the coach Its impossible to criticize Adelman without criticizing Morey. Reading you're post, im convinced you REFUSE to put any blame on Daryl Morey. I don't understand that. A NBA GM provides a coach bottom level talent, but yet it's all the coach's fault when the team doesnt make the postseason??? Rocket fans can't be this dumb
rockets are BOTTOM LEVEL TALENT. this is what adelman-only-fans actually believe. and this is what they say if you don't agree with them. and they have grandiose delusions of themselves and their idol. why should anyone have any respect for your opinion if you can't have respect for anyone else ??? just because you people are an outspoken minority doesn't mean you are correct or that you are better than anyone else. maybe it is YOU people who need to dial it back a notch. but hey, that's just a suggestion. i'm not going to tell you if you should be allowed to post or what you should or shouldn't say. but if your opinion sucks (and it does), then i will let you know.
So you really believe the Rockets had bottom level talent the past two years? If you subscribe to that Adelman + Bottom talent = .500 team, then that also implies that McHale the most horrible coach in Rockets history + Bottom talent = one of the worst teams in NBA history. You should go to Vegas and put your life savings on the "under" for Rockets win totals next year. Because I'm sure Vegas won't have the Rockets as the worst in the NBA.
Really? You've never known someone who took a job b/c they needed a job, regardless of whether they were "excited about it"? Or someone who took a job to get somewhere they wanted to be, even if getting there was crappy? I just hope you aren't putting all your bets on McHale and the rest of the coaching staff being happy to make us successful. That said, I'm indifferent about the hire. I'll wait it out and see what happens--I'm more of here:
I think it's just the pessimism that comes with "learnt helplessness," ie, so much injury and adversity. On the bright side: it could always be worse.
