Ok, as I do not want to intimidate y'all by posting pictures of myself , I did a Google search (no homo) and, e.g., some guy called Daniel Henney came up. He seems to be reasonably handsome (as far as I can tell), even though he does not have the Aryan features you requested. Where is his international superstardom? Seems like most of his success happens in Korea.

Probably because acting is the least practical career choice imaginable, and people who are poorer or have less of a support structure won't take the risk of embarking on it as a career. Also, minority lead actors are like diet soda. White fans can't relate to them, and minority viewers might not necessarily want to. You know, like diet soda.
Maybe the lack of male lead roles for Asians just reflects the level of desirability male Asians have in society? Is there some desire by women (either cultural or even subconscious) to aspire to look for white mates? Even Asian women seem to look for "whiter" guys rather than men of their own race...vice versa, not so much. You see a lot of white guys with Asian girls...not much the other way around. What is the reason for that?
The ones recently immigrationed here might be. And the ones that are apparanently super-duper rich didn't get it doing screen tests.
It's because it's hard to make money on a movie with an Asian lead. People want to go see movies with white or black actors. The exceptions involve comedy like Jackie Chan or Harold and Kumar or stereotypical kung fu movies. Problem isn't Hollywood, it's people and the overall flow of the way media addresses race.
sure, but there are many asians that have been here for several generations and are well-established and reasonably wealthy. as an asian myself, i believe the real reason is a cultural difference. acting is not seen as a viable career choice by asians (perhaps a sort of positive feedback loop, asians don't see asians represented in western cinema or celebrity too much, and therefore discount the possibility of a lucrative career), therefore it is not pursued or encouraged by parents. a lot of asian upbringing is very conservative in its values and very pragmatic in its focus. that's why there are a lot of well-educated asians in the medical and engineering fields. and that's why there is a stereotype that asians are good at math - because mostly, they're brought up in an environment that encourages the development of math and science skills.
Because there is already a billion of them. We don't need Asian men making love scenes, rather we need them portrayed as asexual martial artists who must fight to the death. Spoiler The movies always show Asians as great fighters, but have you ever seen an Asian male in a fight? Oh, and I'm just messing around.
Why aren't there any white actors in bollywood or in hk cinemas? Studios are there to make money and they pander to their audience.
Part of it is racism, no doubt. It's hard to identify with those that you don't associate with, and being only 6 percent of Americans, they're at a disadvantage. However, here's another reasoning. I was watching an interview a long time ago. I forget exactly who it was, but it was with an African American on why they don't have much lead roles and here's his explanation, paraphrasing. Hollywood is very conservative, despite their image. The risk hundreds of millions of dollars on one film and they want a reasonable return on them. That's why they go with A stars over and over again, because it's about risk vs returns... the bottom line. To the producers and CEO, image and artistic value is secondary. So you see a recycling of image and actors you know works on screen and what audiences will pay for. It not until someone protest enough or when some "given" idea is broken then tested that Hollywood will adopt in on a larger scale. That's how African Americans broke into lead roles in the 90's. There has to be someone willing to take the chance or something that has to happen to lead the way for Hollywood to be comfortable investing hundreds of millions of dollars into an idea.
