Yep, making a huge improvised play with the game on the line -- FTW.
    ___

Fisher should have put him out there in some wildcat formations -- big mistake.

Way to ignore all the other posts.

Just stop. You are only giving BigTexx and Fatty fuel. You are being ridiculous.

Vince had 17 INTs last year and 9 TD. He didn't lead the NFL in INTs but all the guys above him had around the same number of TDs.

He was the SECOND ALTERNATE behind Tom Brady who passed on going to the Pro Bowl 2 years ago.

VY was a god in college along with Reggie Bush but Fisher did the right thing. Titans had a good season.

So do the Giants now suck since they were the number 1 seed and lost to the number 6 at home?

They did lose 4 of their last 5 games with the one win being in OT....

Without Plaxico, they do kinda suck.

The Giants won the Super Bowl last year and weren't caught stomping on terrible towels before the playoffs.

The Titans acted like they were entitled to be in the Super Bowl simply based on the regular season.

There was nothing worth addressing just the same old (tired) VY sucks as a pro -- blah blah blah. VY could have been very effective in some wildcat formations -- after Johnson was hurt the Titans had exactly zero game breakers.

I'm not saying start Vince win the world, but put him in for some different looks -- at the minimum.

But, as Major said, they were still moving the ball with great effectiveness with Collins and Lendele White. Why would they attempt to do something else? Something they haven't done all season?

I did... and the score doesn't automatically account for red zone fumbles/turnovers caused by the defense and out of control of the QB.

And, check the scoreboard for weeks 1-16. You just don't throw VY into a playoff game cold turkey without any real competitive game experience since week 1 (the last week against the Colts was a glorified preseason game... which VY didn't do anything significant in).

The score does account for who wins or loses.

See! They should have been playing Vince all along.

A player isn't supposed to lose his spot to injury, even if it was an injury to his psyche.

Yep... and VY had nothing to do with all those scoreboard wins the Titans racked up in garnering the #1 seed.

Have you seen how the Ravens dealt with the wildcat formation this year? Vince Young would have lost a kidney out there of they tried that.

they haven't faced the wildcat with Vince.

Think if he were traded to Miami and they run it with Ricky and VY

So Vince Young is the next Ronnie Brown??

Vince has shown no semblance of an ability to throw the ball against an NFL defense. The QB HAS to be able to throw the ball against an NFL defense or the team's offense becomes easy to stop.

My how the mighty have fallen if VY is reduced to Ronnie Brown redux.

    I know I am a UT hater/borderline troll.

But even I feel sorry for em when their arguments have gone from-

He will REVOLUTIONIZE the quarterback position and be a Hall of Famer!

    to

He might be useful in a gimmick set a few times a game.

Next its gonna be...I bet if he bulked up he could be a good long snapper.
