Why are T-Mac's minutes not being increased during each game?

Actually DD, I think T-Mac is worried and hoping that he doesn't disrupt anything...

The Rockets can't risk McGrady having a setback because it would severely diminish his trade value. Teams need to see just enough of him to offer the Rockets the right deal. Morey's plan is to dump the guy.

Doesn't the win over the Mavs tell you something?

    1. They won without him.
    2. In such a close game situation, they didn't feel he would help them. (Or else they did feel he would help, but they were just too mean to T-Mac and preferred to risk a loss rather than giving him more minutes.)

T-Mac is at a level of play where he needs to crack the rotation. He is not Kobe.

Why don't we trust the coaches and doctors to decide what's best for Tracy in terms of minutes.

I'm happy that our team can handle itself just fine without TMac. I'm excited to see him get back out there, but there's no need to rush anything. He's getting his game legs back, he's shaking off some rust, and hopefully he's gaining the trust of his teammates.

    Be patient friends.

I can see that too, he needs to find his way.

There is no doubt that a humbled, motivated, healthy Tmac would be great.

We shall see, we shall see.

In other words, a completely new and different Tmac the likes of which we have never seen would be great.

I want to see how you think of him tonight, don't look at the box score and say 1-5, he sucks. I hope Clutch gets us a video of tonight, he looked good!

Tmac seems to need to get used to the speed of a real game. He's improving game by game but no kneed to rush things. Webber said coming back too soon from micro-fracture surgery was the BIGGEST mistake of his career. That was under Adelman as well. So, just give him time. He's looking pretty good given his circumstances.
I'm more worried about Landry and CBud. I was holding my breath when AB collided into Hayes as well. Those players are waaaay more important than Tmac.

I am a McGrady fan, but until he can do something in his 7.5 minutes to warrant not pulling him from the game, I think Adelman is making the right call. McGrady himself, doesn't want to get into another acicident and realizes he isn't 100%. Right now, giving him a few minutes here and there to help with his recovery is fine. Giving him to much more, especially given the pace this team usually runs at, would be too much.

I thought he looked a bit better, still no explosion but overall more comfortable....his shot looks flat.....but he did pass the ball well.

Still a mixed bag for me.....
