LOL thanks. Didn't wake up with anyone. Fortunately, she had the decency to leave at a respectable time. I know, I know, pics or it didn't happen, but she wasn't pic worthy.

BTW, I think I may have been more drunk than I thought. I still feel a little buzzed right now... guess that's better than being hung over.

 

Got drunk last night at Proof Bar. Wasn't my intention but beautiful girls kept showing up and the music was good. Fun night.

2 advils later this morning and breakfast i'm good.

 

Drunks are disgusting, and always remember that you can choose new friends.

Do you know these guys from high school? I would highly suggest getting some random roommates for the fall if you're in summer school currently. Maybe you could ask for dudes who don't drink if it bothers you that much.

Right now you're more susceptible to hanging out with your high school friends because that's what you are used to. Expand your social circles; you can always hang out with your old buddies later.

 

It's fine and so cooool to get hammered. But when I want to light up a joint, I'm the bad guy, Im irresponsible, childish and gets dirty looks.

 

Rather than deal with a hangover, I went with the hair of the dog. Guess I'll deal with the hangover tomorrow. FML.

 

As the wise Sgt. Murtaugh once said, "Beer's legal, grass ain't." Now I am a believer that drugs (all drugs) should be legal, but that is not the current state of things. Until it is (or at least until weed is legalized in whatever jurisdiction you reside), using the illegal substance will be more demonized than abusing the legal one.

 

Yeah same here. I hope college is different. In HS, it was one extreme or the other. Hopefully there's more of a middle ground in college.

Are you saying this as in you're heading to college? If so, you're in for a rude awakening lol... if anything, people get even more degenerately drunk in college.

You don't sound like a b****, you just sound like someone with different interests than the majority of college kids. Nothing wrong with that. Find your crowd that makes you happy and stick with it.

So much this. I used to remember when people told me that before I went to college, and I was just like 'whatever'. Looking back on it, it's so true... I would give anything to go back to those years.

 

And not to sound preachy, but I can't stress this enough... college isn't really about the books, it's about figuring out who you are as a person. I graduated with high honors, but ultimately that didn't mean a whole lot. The human interaction side of things is what you need to focus on. Like DD said, 'just relax and enjoy the ride'.

 

I used to be like you when I was a senior in high school. Then one of the hottest girls I've ever known personally decided to make it her mission in life to get me hammered one night our freshman year in college, and since that night 12 years ago, I've never regretted drinking or getting drunk one moment. Stop overthinking it, and just go with the flow.

 

Red, you'll quickly realize that drinking is fun in Austin. It might not be in highschool, but trust me college will be the most fun time of your life. Let loose.
