spin away weiner-boy. the fact is that ron paul is the only republican candidate talking about bringing the troops home and he has more military "donars" than all other repubs combined.

generally, you have to feel pretty strongly about a candidate to donate money to them. especially if it is someone who makes the pay of an average soldier. for the people who have invested the most in this war to be donating to the one candidate who wants to get them home speaks volumes and is a strong indicator of the general attitude amongst our troops.

on a personal note, i have two cousins who have served in iraq and afghanistan - 3 missions for one and the other is about to leave for his 3rd. among them and their friends i have met there is not a bush supporter left among any of them. generally, the 'w' stickers came off their cars after returning from their 2nd tours. they are sick of this war and they are sick of this president. at this point they are only in this for each other.

why dont you ask a few people who have served where they would rather be - in iraq or protecting our own border.

Really the people for Obama are the same people whose focus on celebrity feeds obsessions of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, etc. Obama's campaign has fueled itself through mindless speeches, empty yet colorful words (like audacity and fierce urgency of now), bringing in celebrities as spokespersons (Oprah)... basically everything but substance. Are we as a society that brain-dead that this sort of mindless campaigning and ignoring of real issues is what drives our votes? Are we about to get duped into voting for someone with no track record, no experience, no substance, simply because he looks good to some and he talks a good game? God help us.

Yes, it is better to let irrational fear dictate our actions, and candidates.

Yep the record will show it, and let it show that it accurately describes your position on Obama.

I think the lack of oxygen in your doomsday shelter is finally getting to you ROXRAN. If Obama wins the presidency, will you crawl down in there permanently?

O yeah, liberal crackerjacks of the world...You misguided selective tunnel visioned folk.

Before you continue to champion Ron Paul, please realize in the grand scheme of things, the "military" (the ones who have contributed.. as you set aside those who haven't contributed as somehow insignificant) personnel who have contributed when taken as a whole ...STILL have decided that overall the Republican way is THE way....

Furthermore, if the Iraq war was a single ticket and absolute issue, their choice of contribution could have easily gone to the dark side...It didn't. Which logically demonstrates that small government, and NO federal gun restrictions (Ron Paul's favor) are definite contributing aspects to the decision making process...

Just something to chew the pork on...carry on...

Seldom is the question asked: Crappy linkless threads kill REDRUM than fools across the country?

Why do crackpot rightwing-nuts buy into silly articles like this?

    that was rhetorical, of course

EDIT: The funniest thing about this thread is that while roxran's article has no discernable evidence or truth to it, we have documented proof that Osama Bin Laden wanted Bush reelected.

    That's ****ing priceless.

Why do misguided selective tunnel visioned liberals turn away from facts and evidence when an article is politically threatening?...
