Yep. I have no confidence in him. Right now if he got 6 looks with average defensive pressure, i'd only expect him make 2 of them.
How many of y'all complained about Bullard being one deminsional. Novak hasn't had much time to display his skills.
Honestly, he just hasn't done anything. All the VSpan love was just ridiculous. Not only was the guy arrogant but he sucked too. It's dissapointing because I like Novak. However, he just doesn't fit here. He has no confidence and he's not playing well. At the end of the day he has to do something to earn a roster spot and he hasn't.
Aaron Brooks can shoot bro. I doubt we have too many guys who could beat him at a 3 pt shooting contest. James, head, Novak, maybe Tmac and that's it.
I agree with you. I'd LOVE to see him become a guy thats consistantly shooting lights out. I'd love for him to be the guy who could fill up the basket when we're struggling. But the fact is that he's just not there yet. He needs to get his confidence up. Point is, if we were down by three at the end of the game, he wouldn't give me that "it's all going to be okay" feeling. He's still a BIG project.
That's not hate, it's just realistic thinking that he has very small chance to make the team roster because of his poor play.
he has had a year to put on some muscle. looks too scrawny to defend and too slow to keep up w/ anyone. look at luther....he's buffed up. don't tell me novak cannot add some muscles because it affects his shot.
I actually loved the pick when we got him but I wasn't prepared for his scrubility in every aspect of basketball other than shooting. scru·bil·i·ty /scr'əˈbɪlɪti/ –noun, plural -ties. 1. lack of power or capacity to do or act physically, mentally, legally, morally, financially, etc. 2. competence in an activity or occupation because of the lack of one's skill, training, or other qualification: the scrubility to sing terrible. 3. lack of abilities, talents; special skills or aptitudes: Playing professional basketball exposes his scrubilities.
You think? I think it was because we got beat by a better team personally. Yao and TMac played average, we couldn't guard Boozer and DWill was playing out of his mind the entire playoffs. I think that had a little more to do with it. If you think we lost to Utah because Rafer played crappy, then i don't know what to tell you bro.
