We all know Pippen sucks pretty bad, but I think Rice is trying to compete with him. We need to stop playing Rice and give more minutes to the young guys to develop.

At least Rice has a reason, you know sitting out a year and having to get his timing back, Pippen was just gutless under pressure.

Who's worst? I suppose that's a typo. You mean 'Who's wurst' no? Mmm...sausages. I've had both pork and beef sausages but a rice sausage? Damn those vegans are taking over the world!

In my eyes Rice played a lot of better along with those bench guys like Ming, Hawks etc. but not with the starters.
He seems quite compfortable knocking the shots passed from Ming or Hawks but not from Steve.

It seemed like Bonzi scored every time Rice was on him. Rice sux.

I don't think that we are trying to develop young players this year. I think we'll go ahead and try to win. Maybe go to the playoffs, be happy, not post threads that don't make sense at this time, etc.

(We'll worry about young guys if we don't make the playoffs.)

Our defense at the SF spot should improve when T-Mo gets healthy which might make it easier for Rice to concentrate on his shooting.

Oi I am annoyed at both but as for now I would only take Rice because he isn't whining us to death or quiting

Bonzi was like 3-10 or 3-12 early in the game when Rice was playing him. I'm not saying Rice shut him down but that is far from him scoring on Rice every time Rice was on him.

Well, the real issues are playing time. Instead of running an old, close-to-retire, player, Rox should give these minutes to the rising stars.

rice is a rhythm shooter. have you noticed that he almost never misses on passes from ming (passes that come from the outside/in)? it's a cliche, but rice is starting to "find his niche" with the rocket's offense...and it's fine by me.

btw, rice did not get torched by bonzi. it may not have been a stalwort effort, but 3 for 12 shooting by bonzi means you did SOMETHING right.

Rice sucks on defense...we already knew that. But I think he's just starting to get his legs back under him, and then we'll see that deadly jump shot of his. Overall, I think him and Pippen are the same- what Pippen lacks offensively, Rice lacks defensively.

Glen Rice might be the worst Rocket of all time.

i thought rice did pretty good last night.
he shot well. he grabbed some pretty big rebounds. and his defensive intensity was definitely there. wells was hamstrung the entire game.

as for pippen, err, no comment. i'll just refer you to the post-game quotes. :D

    SCOTTIE PIPPEN

    On playing in Houston:
"Houston has a real nice package. The fans still love me here, don¡¦t they?"

    On the booing:
"It doesn¡¦t bother me at all. The booing doesn¡¦t distract me, as I¡¦ve played in some pretty hostile places."

He had a GREAT save, I was ready to dump him but that was a huge veteran play.
