Hate losing Landry's offensive punch and when he's on a roll like Milwaukee you hate to give that up but let's be real. Landry is a liability on the defensive side of the ball and can be easily fronted. Check the clips and philly games for examples.

My main man Carl, much man love. I wished they shipped out Scola instead an aging 2 in vertical

Well, if Shane will no more carry scoring load on his shoulder with Martin on the floor, his production per min will definitely go up, just keep in mind that when he plays with Yao and Tracy, his 3pt shot looked pretty smooth and accurate.

As you stated, Chase plays no D and along with Trevor Ariza, who's more athletic and energetic than Shane is, could help our bench outscore the opposing bench in a heartbeat with Ariza's on-and-off shooting touch.

This question would have probably been less one-sided if Ariza hadn't just pulled that dunk on Okur and drained 6 threes yesterday.

But yeah, you gotta see if Ariza fairs better at small forward, especially since he's more of a player for the future than Battier. However, if his shooting and stupid play doesn't improve by next season, I would not be opposed to going back to Battier. Especially since Battier's "offense" will be needed a lot less now.

Battier is currently our best option at backup PF, so unless another trade is made to get us some frontcourt depth, Battier goes to the bench.

C - Hayes, Andersen, Armstrong, Yao
PF - Scola, Battier, Thomas, Cook
    SF - Ariza, Budinger, (Battier)
    SG - Martin, Taylor
    PG - Brooks, Lowry, Rodriguez

If Cook is still on this team at the deadline, EPIC fail.
