Who's your favorite poster(s) on "the other side"?

I would say Weslinder and refman for sure. I used to think TJ was, but he's fallen off his game a bit, and has become too repetitive and lackluster.

 

I really like Faos.

 

Trader_jorge makes the craziest posts. It's so hilarious reading what he comes up with. It's like Rush Limbaugh on steroids with even less logic and completely ignores posters with good logical responses.

As for respect, I have to agree with everybody on weslinder. He's sharp and articulate.

 

Even though I think he may be a bit _______.I will give it to TJ, because there is no way I think he could possibly believe 90% of the stuff he post.

 

ArtestMusic is my favorite poster.

 

B-Bob, Deckard and DonnyMost are reasonable to me for the most part. I enjoy the "eldest" two of that bunch the most.

There is something to be said for respect... when it is given out, it is reciprocated.

Before watching that video, I didn't realized Hitler had endorsed Obama. Either through time travel or clairvoyance, your special project has indeed come to fruition; this changes everything.

First off, let me say that I've met T_J and a twin brother of his who stated he was BigTexxx before I knew any correlation. (remember kids, this was before D&D.) I've met T_J and his twin since, and they've "corrected" that assumption... (Yep. Even I still don't buy it, because I had no idea who BigTexxx was when we were originally introduced.)

I can't write that without saying that Trader_Jorge is a fantastic poster. Y'all would sincerely miss him if he "TTBC" like y'all love to post. It is r****ded. There are very few poster's here who bring incite, (re. that should be insight) and T_J, love him or not, is a great addition to this board since it was originated.

As for my foes? I hate this, but I'm obviously at odds with Deckard, DD, and RMTex, even though I think they're great people.

Hell, I still love Batman Jones, and we couldn't be at opposite ends of the spectrum.

I still love the panda responses whenever ling ling posts.

And I've learned to respect SamFisher just a bit, but I still get irritated easily by him.

Man, I choked up reading this thread. I love all you guys, too. I enjoy posting here, because I get many different perspectives than I'm used to.

My favorite "liberal" poster, though? Definitely Rocket River. He has a perspective that I don't think many others on the board have, and I learn a lot from him.

 

If RR didn't post in that crazy format it would be him.

DD drives me crazy because he goes so over the top and he signs every post.

I'm going to say it's either Batman or SamFisher. Sam qualifies only because of the panda pics.

 

Weslinder for sure.

I like wes, Refman, HayesStreet, Mr. Clutch, imadrummer and mr. paige best from the right for thoughtful commentary. (Where is mr. paige btw? I miss him here.)

I like giddyup best for entertainment and also because he's just a very nice guy. I also like Chicken_George for entertainment. He is secretly a nice guy too.

Faos is much better on Rockets stuff but I get a kick out of him here too. And IROC it can be reasonable once in a while. Old Man Rock blew my mind with his gracious mea culpa in the Obama's grandmother thread. He gets a gold star for that in any conversation like this.

Max and DD don't qualify here. They are true independents. I love to read everything either posts here, but they don't qualify as regular oppo.
