One thing about Paul Pierce people seem to overlook is his comeback from the stabbing. I know not a lot of people mention it. He's a great player, and I respect him; I just can't find myself rooting for many of the 2 guards in the league lately: McGrady whines too much, Kobe's an adulterer at best, rapist at worst, Iverson thinks he's God in 6'1 form, etc. The only 2 guard I like is probably Ray Allen.

Steve Nash and the Mavericks. I can't bear to be an out-and-out Mavs fan because Cuban gets on my nerves (he has passion, though) and because I laughed at the Mavericks for years. Don't wanna be a bandwagoner, but man, they're fun to watch. Nash is probably the smartest player in the NBA. I don't watch the Mavs much because it makes it hard to be a Rockets fan.

Sactown is really fun to watch, too. Talk about team trust. I hope one of these teams can win it all this year, but of course Shaqkobe will drag Malone in for a ring.

Alonzo Mourning. He was just a Warrior.

I now have a new favorite though....Lebron James.

At first I didnt like him mbecause of the the stupid media hype. But Ive seen a few of his games this season and in a way you can feel for the guy. He has so much expectation surrounding him and so far I think he has handled it really well.

Besides....he is part of the Rockets backcourt on my ESPN NBA Basketball franchise! :)

    Dwyane Wade:
gets to the hoop whenever he wants and finishes with confidence, solid defender, unselfish.

    Zach Randolph:
amazing touch around the rim, killer crossover for a man his size, always plays with energy and desire.

I like Ron Artest, Kenyon Martin and Amare Stoudamire. They've all got that fire under them to outplay you everynight. I've been a Kenyon Martin fan since he was at Cincinatti.

Death to the Jazz. I don't care how long its been since we were rivals and I don't care how cool any of their players are. As long as I am a Rocket fan, I can wish for nothing but death to the Jazz.

Michael Redd is making his way up there, too -- love those lefty bombers!

My favorite non-Rocket team used to be the Miami Heat before ZO got ill. I would have to say ZO is my favorite non-Rocket but the way everyone in Houston HATES Francis and want to get rid of him I have a feeling soon Francis will be my favorite non-Rocket. QUIT THE HATING!!!

Carmelo and AK-47, young players who care nothing about stats and everything about winning. They are fun to watch.

The Sacramento Kings offense is a beautiful thing to watch also. Great team basketball.

I also love watching Nash run the Dallas Mavericks, a true floor general and great distributor in addition to consistently nailing the jumper.
