I voted for Barry, but Deke isn't far off at all. I don't even like calling Sura a role player, he is so important to this team.

    X: Sura
    1. Barry
    2. Dike
    3. Wesley
    4. Howard (Since he has more responsibilities than The Body)
    5. Padgett

    Gotta be Deke for me.
48 minutes of pain at the 5 for the other team.
And it amazes me what he's still capable of out there.
    Geez,over 15-20 minutes,he's in the top 5 or 6 centers.

I think deke is more of a diffrence maker then barry on the court, but I just did't know barry was that good, so he had impressed me.I knew sura and deke where great pickups before they steped on the court.we would lose alot off games without sura though that's why I voted sura.

the guy i'm happiest to see doing well, and thus i geuss my favorite, is padgett. i liked when he came in games last year and early on this year and always thought he should get consistent minutes. and now that he's a part of the rotation and playing so well it's great.

sura has been even better than i thought he would be.

deke's D has been incredible. i was really hoping the trade for him this offseason would happen and didn't understand why so many were against it. most seemed to think we were going to be rolling him into the game on a stretcher and out of it in a casket if he played over 10 minutes. but he had almost the exact same stats as cato (who was great for us) last year, and was an even better shot blocker, though i didn't know he was this damn good.

barry is the ultimate chemistry guy.

howard - there isn't anything overtly great about him that makes me attached to him, but it's such a comfort to have him as a bail out on most plays and no that if he gets that open shot after the D has collapsed on tracy or yao that the ball is probably going in. he completes the offense very nicely.

wesley is just kinda there for me, but you can't complain about our record since he's joined us.

That nickname ("The Body")has got to go.

I think it originated from Van Chancellor and was picked up by Worrell who seems to get stuck on nick names.

Its as lame as Worrell repeating every game how Shaq calls Duncan the "Big Fundamental".

Since when do we start quoting Van Chancellor and worse Shaquile O'Neal.

Kill the Body. Kill the Big Fundamental

Gotta go with Sura on this, but I don't even know if he is a role player... he is a very important cog in the success of the Rocks. In addition to the near-triple doubles, the guy gives heart and hustle and intensity every night.

    I hope he stays healthy.

I like them all, but I voted for Barry. He makes such a difference, like a coach on the floor. Intelligent player. Sura is key, most important role player. Yoda is o.k., Howard has had some very good games, and I love Scotty. The Kings game was awesome. Mutombo has played a huge role, outstanding contribution. The Rockets have squeezed as much out of the role players as could have been expected, and more. TMac and Ming have to raise their level a bit because I don't thing the role players can do much more.

Gotta say, IMO Barry is the best role player. I can't believe he's a 35 year old white guy. The guy brings the energy of a 20 year old every night (even though he's almost twice that old) and looks like he's having fun the whole game. He gets everyone involved and makes passes that would make even Jason Williams envious. Did you see him steal the ball from Dixon tonight. Incredible!!

Energy is contagious and when he's playing you can see it. If Cato, MoT or a few other players with the bodies, but not the heart, played with 1/2 the energy as Jon they'd be all-stars.

I'd go in the order of Jon Barry - Deke - Sura - Wesley - Howard.

Deke is my absolute favorite, followed very closely by the WBPS (White Boy Power Squad).

I can't pick a favorite out of those six. They are all doing what is needed by them for the team to succeed.
