JJ Redick has been pretty good this season with the Clippers, I can let that slide marginally. Steve Blake on fire with the 79% shooting lakers, ok.... but Jared Dudley?! holy ****.
It should be D-mo, but Harden plays D like he doesn't give a **** really, letting veteran white guys blow by him, shameful
Harden screwed up and showed us that unlike DMo, he is actually capable of playing good defense. He just lacks effort and desire. I'm not advocating fire McHale, but no way Greg Popovic would tolerate Tim Duncan or Tony Parker not playing defense. He'd be knee deep in their @sses. As they sat on the bench.
Harden's defense was decent when he was in the playoffs with OKC. And his defense was decent in the playoffs last year with the Rockets. But he does lack discipline on the defensive end and that happens with a lot of young offensive oriented players. Good thing is he usually outplays his counterparts at his position. He had more points, rebounds, assit, and steals than both Blake and Meeks combined the last game. But because of the lack of production and or effort from some of his teammates _ that does mean Harden has to contribute more on the defensive end to make up for them... But IMO, team defense as a whole hasn't been great. Last time I checked the Clippers put up 137.... Really not fair to single out on individual.
Harden and its not even close. One of the worst defenders in the entire league. Worse than KMart. At least KMart tries and does not stand there watching
See how Lin is brought up so often by, I guess, non-LOF? That's the problem. Effort is a large part of playing defense. Effort-wise, Harden is the worst hands down.
