Harden is undoubtedly the lynch-pin of this team and it's not even close who the best player is but who comes next in line?

Personally I'd go with Parsons. He's by far the teams best wing defender, the most consistent player on the team along with Harden and unlike Asik/Lin actually has a case for being Top 10 in his own position.

I'd go Parsons as well even though he's been playing through injury and his shot has been off recently. He can defend 1-4 and is an underrated playmaker on offense.

    P.S. wrong Sub-forum bro.

After Harden Parsons is the best all-around.

I'd say Asik. The guy is averaging a double-double while playing less than 30 minutes a game. There aren't many players in the league who can do that. And he is definitely our best defender too.

That's sad... I appreciate his D and his rebounding and his effort on O but he is just a role player.

As far as I can tell, "role player" doesn't mean anything other than "not a primary scoring option."

Asik, Parsons and Lin are interchangeable to me. IMO we don't have a clear cut 2nd option because they all bring something different and necessary to the team.

what about a potential allstar player that can at least catch a pass, finish with dunks and block shots

It's not asked much for him to improve into Tyson mode, is it?

Golden State is still missing an Omer Asik kind of player in Bogut, but they have Lee, Landry and Thompson who are their respected 2nd and 3rd best players. They have a better record.

I don't understand the point you're trying to make here. Are you saying he's not our second best player, or that we need to bring in a better player, or that for the money he's getting he needs to be better?

If you take Defense into consideration he might be our best player.... but overall he is there tied at 3rd.... but we really lack talent outside of Harden our best player

Moneywise is fine but we won't go very far with him being our second or third offensive option IMO

Might well get Gortat, Jefferson, Millsap, Landry to pair up with him

Lin needs to be. The rockets have to feature him. It's the only way we make the playoffs

    Second best player is Parsons.

What's Parsons the second "best" at, if not impacting the game in a positive way? Looking good for the camera?

    Without a doubt, it's Parsons.

Asik has more impact as a player, but Parsons is a better player.
