Isn't this thread question kind of like asking "which politician is least genuine?" or "which NBA player has the worst basketball fundamentals?" I don't even know where to start with it. Most NFL players have to be as cocky as possible just to survive week in and week out, it seems to me.

Right, Sam Madison has never given up a Touchdown

Maybe Madison is a little better at coverage, But there is no better run stopping/pash rushing CB in the league than Charles Woodson.

    Never??

That is a pretty strong word, El. Did you just start to follow the Dolphins this season??

I am sure it has happened because it happens to the best of players (not saying that Madison is one of the best) but my top 5 cornerbacks in the league are:

    1) Charles Woodson
    2) Champ Bailey
    3) Jason Sehorn
    4) Shawn Springs
    5) Deltha O'Neal:p

Madison holds and grabs too much to be in the top 5 and plus he is a punk.:p

In another year or two, Phillip Buchanan will be making this list. I thought I never would prop 2 raiders let alone 1 but when the Raiders got Phillip, I cursed the Broncos misfortune of not getting him and the Raiders fortune of getting him.

Joe Horn is a great call.

David Terrell is the cockiest player in the NFL per catch ;)

I agree with Manny's list except that I think Ty Law might be better than Sehorn.
Before Jason's injury maybe but right now he seems to have lost something.
Madison is good but Surtain might be better even. Honestly, Sam Madison has been burned a few times in his career I am sure.
In 2 years Buchanon will be a monster. Barring injuries, that secondary is going to be SOLID with CWood/Buchanon for a while. The Gruden deal has panned out wonderfully so far.

David Boston has been making Charles Woodson look bad since college.

Hugh Douglas is another cocky player.

Leon Lett was pretty damn cocky in his time. Remember when he was showboating and holding the ball out on the way to the goal line in the 93 Super Bowl? Beebe stripped it, and Lett looked like a dumbass.

No Way Sehorn makes a top 5 list of Corners, maybe not eve top 10

Troy Vincent must be praised higher than Springs also, as with Surtain and Law

Sehorn is easily the most overrated player in the NFL, especially since Terrell Davis left.

Sehorn was good before he tore his knee, but even then he was overrated. I hate to make it a racial issue, but would Sehorn have all this hype if he weren't a white CB, playing in NY? Probably not.

Tim Dwight is a better white player, who has about 1/4th the hype Sehorn gets.

Over the last 2-3 years, pretty much 75% of passing TD's the Giants have allowed, it's been because Sehorn either fell down, or got completely burned.

Owens is as cocky as they come. I'd love em' if he played for Dallas though. He is exactly like Barkley.

Bill Romanowski has got to be one of the worst. I don't know if "cocky" really fits though, he's more of a straight up dirty player. When he got busted for taking various prescription drugs and had his wife take the fall for it--ouch.
When Leon Lett began his early TD celebration that was a classic- it cost the Cowboys the all-time scoring record in a Superbowl.

Ronde Barber is definitely top 5 of DBs. Oh, and Warren Sapp has to be mentioned as one of the cockiest players.

Yea, Sehorn has dropped off and some of the other ones mentioned like Ty Law and Troy Vincent are very good.

But you get the point, there are several, maybe more than 10 corners better than Sam Madison.

Sorry I'm late but I just saw a replay of Terrell Owens...the dude is freaking awesome!!!

It's so cocky, arrogant, classless, tasteless but so f'ing hilarious.

but Owens going to the race card is just plain stupid.

    from ESPN:
"You have a white guy as an announcer and sportscaster," Owens was quoted as saying in the San Francisco Examiner. "Me, I'm black. I do it and I've already done some stuff in the past.

"We're (African-Americans) more expressive than the white guys," Owen said. "You look at the skilled players. We're the ones that get into the end zone. We get in the end zone more than they do."

are you freakin' kidding me? If a white player were to say the same thing ("we're more calm and less expressive than them. they're loud and wild"), there would be a media barnstorm immediately.

the 49ers have been my 2nd favorite team since the mid-80s, but with the stupidity of Owens, its testing my loyalty.

Terell Owens is the cockiest by far. He deserved to get knocked on his butt when he taunted the Cowgirls (even though I hate Dallas). That whole signing the football think was rediculous.
