We have lots of problems that need to be improved. Here are some of the game changing factors that stand out: Harden's defense and ISO, Howard's free throw, Asik's stonehand, Lin's TO, Parsons' pump fake and dribble drive, McHale's TT and coaching ability, Beverley's extreme offense and defense....etc. IMO liability is: scores 1 point but gives up 2, waste possession by missing fts, waste possession or giving up points by turnovers, waste possession by taking low percentage shots, taking away opportunities by packing up the lane, etc. So who do you think is the biggest liability on the court?
it's not that simple though! each player has their strengths and weaknesses, it's just some players' weaknesses are being exploited for the entire world to see. Last year, it was Lin's inability to shoot from outside the arc; this year, it's Harden's turrible D, which was revealed but given a pass last year; and as always, IT'S DWIGHTS GOD DAMN INABILITY TO MAKE FREE THROWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Harden Iso , Lin running head first into paint with no where to go , casspi playing like he is high on coke , Dwight bricking free throws , teams lack of offensive plays etc etc
If you switch the wording to "Who has the biggest liability?" it would change my answer. I would rank it as follows: 1) Harden's perimeter defense 2) Howard's FT% 3) Lin's perimeter defense 4) Asik's offensive game This takes into account how much of an impact each player has on the game. So while Brooks' defense is also a liability, he's not getting minutes, so it should make a difference. Harden, on the other hand, is on the court all the time, which means we suck at containing dribble penetration all the time, especially combined with Lin's defense.
It's between Harden and the TT. But I'd go with Harden because his defense is nonexistent and his offense have been spotty. He puts up alot of points, but often at a pretty dismal fg%, of course he makes up for it with freethrows. But his iso tendencies and turnovers bring it back down again.
I'll say this though about Asik, he's historically been pretty damn terrible offensively, but he hasnt been that bad the last couple of games.
you know I'm tired of ppl saying "oh its too early" "just wait" no. defense doesn't need chemistry. defense is about fcking EFFORT EFFORT MU****AS
