I voted Texans with my heart, but we won't know for sure til the season progresses a bit. The 3-headed monster of the Dallas running game has been a Grover type monster instead of a Godzilla type so far, and the Texans pass defense has been a sieve. I think they are a pair of really good, playoff football teams with a huge flaw that teams will continue to exploit until they find a way to shore it up.
If the cowboys had a real coach (and an owner who would just leave him the hell alone), I think they would have won another SB by now.
on watching the teams play and their records, every one of those comparisons is completely reasonable.
I'd go with the Cowboys LBs over the Texans LBs for no other reason than we haven't seen Cushing play yet this season. If Cushing comes back and plays like he did last year, then the Texans have the better group of LBs for their system. Other than that the only complaint I would have with that list is Romo and Schaub. I think they are equal personally.
I think theyre really close but I'd give the slight edge to Dallas they have scoreboard and have good records the last 3 years or so. I think the Texans are for real but I need to see it more than 1/4 of a season before I can say theyre better than a team that is proven and spanked them just two weeks ago..........
Don't forget that the Patriots beat the Giants in Week 17. I think if you play that game ten times, the Patriots would win 8 of them.
QUESTION: Have the Texans played a team this year . . . that has more talent than they do? Beyond Payton Manning . .. maybe Dallas Clark I don't think there are any players you would trade for another player of the same positiong Reggie Wayne < Andre Johnson Freeney <= Mario?? bob sanders was knocked out . . < Playing Pollard Washington Schaub = McNabb? [heck i don't even know anyone else worth naming on that team] Raiders. . . ok they have a better Cornerback. Rocket River
Peyton over Schaub I'd take Bethea over Wilson/Nolan/Barber. Clark and Witten over Daniels/Dreesen Landry over Pollard? Any other CBs over ours
