...which one? (huh huh huh) GET it?

He's pretty good even with Gradkowski and Campbell throwing him the ball. Foot injury slowed him down.

Jay Novacek 2.0. Good player, but even better situation for him.

Best in the game is Gates for sure. Tony Gonzalez is the best ever, Witten and Dallas Clark ultra productive, Finley, Winslow, Vernon Davis and Marcedes Lewis physically gifted for the position. But Gates right now is the best and has been for a couple years.

    (Jeremy Shockey's sure fell off)

So, you've never seen Jason Witten fail to block his assignments? It's especially hurt us in several games the last few seasons that either directly or indirectly lead to big negative plays and contributed to Cowboys losses. It may be the Cowboys are trying to get Jason Witten to do too much at times with his blocking by making up for other offensive line inadequacies...by matching him up with someone he really has no business blocking by providing additional line blocking.

I'm just flabbergasted you guys don't know what I'm talking about. I'm not saying he can't block and hasn't blocked well at times...but he has had some real stinkers where he completely whiffed on his assignments and was made to look really bad.

Gates is going to have a long road ahead of him with the torn plantar fascia.

Hard to say who is the best right now with all the injuries to top tier TEs.

    Jason Witten is. Hands down

He leads all TE's with 82 catches and 911 yards.

    He's third with 9 TD's.

And he leads all TE's with 44 catches for first downs.

    He's a beast.

Rob Gronkowski - 3 TDs against the Steelers defense, right up the middle while Polamalu couldn't do a damn thing. Best season for a rookie Tight End in a long time with 9 TDs on just 36 receptions. A TD for every 4 catches. Amazing for a rookie. Also, Gronkowski has been sharing the spotlight with another rookie Aaron Hernandez who is also having an excellent season with 45 REC and 6 TDs. Patriots have the best Tight End tandem in the league, Gronkowski, Hernandez, and Crumpler who is old but still a tremendous run blocker. By next year, Gronkowski will be hands down the best TE in the league.

That song is way too dramatic for Gronkowski highlights.
