I think fans can be crazier. Very few posters here stay grounded. Say McGrady sucked it up for a game and you're T-Mac hater. Say Yao had a bad game and you're a Yao hater. If the Rockets go on a losing streak, it's Adelman's fault and he should be fired. They should have kept JVG. If they continue to lose, Morey should be canned and his moneyball strategy is bull****. If they win, Morey is a genius. If the Rockets lose home games its because the fans aren't cheering hard enough. If the Rockets go on a winning streak, they're suddenly the best team in the NBA. Lose one game and they're pretenders that shouldn't even be in the playoffs. If there's pictures of McGrady at a night club the night before a game that starts at 7:30 the next day, McGrady isn't devoting himself to the team, and should follow Yao's example. Also because he's at a night club, his fidelity with his wife will come into question, which will raise the questions of whether he's a good human being or not. If Yao is at one, Chinese values will dictate that he's not going to sleep around, nor will he drink any form of alcohol. If Yao trains hard, he's at a risk for injury. If Yao doesn't train as hard, he's at risk for injury. The list goes on and on. Artest as a single person is probably crazier. Given the sheer number of fans out there though, and I think fans win by a landslide.
this is what fans are for, to support the players no matter right or wrong. Its not logical, but its what all fans do.
BB has a little RonRon in him. 10000 post suspension, come back next August to post. I agree pgabriel its not a sure thing. What bothers me is they brought him to the Kings for the same reason we got him and he doesn't get out of the first round his first year and they don't even make the playoffs his next two. But for what we had to give up, you have to make that deal.
HOW IS THIS A RISK??? we gave up 2 late first round picks, and bobby jackson for a 20 point per night/ former defensive player of the year player whos favorite coach in the world just so happens to be ours. the only thing i feel the slightest bit bad about giving up is donte greene but the truth is, whether he will be good or not i would look at this trade the same if it was before the draft. the only risk here is that we no longer have bobby jackson instead we have brent barry, and we no longer have donte greene and we lost maybe 10 draft spots next year for a LEGITIMATE 3RD SCORER who only has one year left on his contract so we're not waisting any money and we we are not stuck with him if he does kill someone AND we still have our our original starting five that minus yao ming won 55 games and our full mle. WHERE EXACTLY IS THE RISK?? TEAM CHEMISTRY??? DONT BE REDICULOUS
Sac thinks Greene is a top 10 pick and judging by that 40pt dleague game he might be. Just saying, if Greene becomes Rashard Lewis in 2 years and you lose Artest to FA would you still make the deal. I just don't see us resigning Artest, there are teams like the Knicks with cap space next year that would probably give Artest a 60M deal, don't think Les is willing to pay that.
