I don't see Jokic, Giannis in any of these lists. I doubt the credibility of those. Maybe it's only guards and SFs.
It's the entire league. Bigs have very selective floor spacing. It's when they are in specific sets like post ups where gravity is going top happen. So out of the minutes played, a big will have less time with the ball where gravity is applied than a ball handling wing or guard. For example as special as Jokic is, no on is face guarding him full court off the ball.
This is what I have been trying to get at as well. Amen Thompson - like many on the Rockets - is difficult to pin down and give a definitive value to. He is the Rockets best individual and team defender - he is an excellent rebounder and finisher, and he is a solid passer. However - the lack of range and inconsistent handle is a big issue. I think that Amen is very good, but I feel like his weaknesses are not a good fit with the players around him. He needs to be around a bunch of shooters until he becomes passable from the perimeter. I think with a better team, he would right now be a Boris Diaw type player.
I would but I like happiness. You guys can argue about abortion for the 118th year in a row, I'm sure it's a hoot.
If Jalen, Fred and Dillon shoot well, Amen and Sengun will work. If those guys don’t make their shots we’re probably in trouble with two non-shooters.
