based on a little bit of history, shane battier. don't be surprised if his playoff 3p% is like 32 instead of 42.

what the hell kind of post is this? why are you already thinking about playoff disappointments before the playoffs even start? you should've made a thread about who is going to step up big. i love the pessimism.

i'll go with battier, too.. usually people who don't have slack when the going gets easy screw up when the going gets rough.

You know it's kind of a weird feeling. We all cared so much here and there for these random regular season games, calling for coaches to be fired, players to be traded, benched, played, etc. over one game yet when it's all said and done, right now, none of that seems to matter. We're in the playoffs and we know who we're playing. All the b****ing and cheering means nothing now if we don't win in the playoffs.

It makes the regular season seem worthless. Which is why I guess some players/teams don't try as hard in it.

To think the Spurs were better than us the whole season, and THEN they started trying...it's kind of sad. They went from "Grandfather time is catching up to them, but they're still a good team" to "Holy sh*t they are winning it all again" within a couple weeks. Damn...

    Oh well sorry for that.

SECOND ROUND for the ROCKETS for sure.

Who is going to be a disappointment? The entire bench. Every last one of them... especially Howard who is going to have a 1-10 game in a loss for us for sure.

such negative train of thought, clutchFANS, if ure a fan, start supporting your team instead of trying to stir up negativity for no reason at all. next time get give yourself, oh i dunno, maybe 3 seconds to think through before you start a thread, 1 star.
