Ummm. The Bucs outplayed the Skins? Did you watch that game. The Skins D dominated the Bucs. Allowing only 1 real touchdown (another was on a fluke fumble 55 yard bomb) Davis also ran for 150 yards on the Bucs without 2 starting offensive lineman, and the I believe racked up or around 400 yards of offense on that Vaunted Bucs D. The skins were up 17-7 before that fluke Sack/Fumble/TD With like 4 mins left in the game. Philly didnt outplay the skins. Not even close. If they had at least one playmaker on the reciever end then it wouldnt of been as close as it was. Albert Connell was getting double teamed for the first time in his life, and Irving Fryar was thrust into the starting lineup. And please. The Giants were never in that Game. Never ever ever. Dont forget that the skins had a kicker who was costing them and average of about 6 points per game. Husted wasnt asked to kick a FG over 44 yards but couldnt make one over 26 yards (basically an extra point) And he even missed one of those. Please. Darell Green would start on any other Football team (or at least 28 of them) in the NFL. He still runs a 4.2 40 and except for one bad game against Philly were he had stellar D on Touchdown caught agaist him, he has played extremely well. As to your argument about the team D in the NFC east...Do you realize that Washington has the second ranked D in the Conference, while only playing 3 division games. PHilly has the conferences 4th ranked D, and the G men have the 6th ranked D in the conference. Those are pretty good D's. No one claims how weak the Bucs D is even though they play against some weak offensive teams. Anyways. Heres to a royal arse wopping the skins are going to put on the Titans. Even missing 5 offensive starters. ------------------ "I have amazing, powers of observation"...Pink
Dreamshake - You stated in your last response. "Anyways. Heres to a royal arse wopping the skins are going to put on the Titans. Even missing 5 offensive starters." What was the final score to last night's game???? Go TITANS!!!! ------------------ Titan's fanatic!!!! It was the first time the Titans sent an offense to the line of scrimmage with Eddie George in the backfield behind McNair to go with Wycheck at tight end and Carl Pickens, Kevin Dyson and Yancey Thigpen at wide receiver. So many choices, with a full season still ahead. "I think that might be scary for a defense," Dyson said.
