That movie Passion of the Christ has really dramatically changed my life. Spoiler I'm now a Jew hater.
He made anti-semitic remarks after getting arrested for a DUI. He basically got smashed, got busted, and blamed the Jews for all the troubles in the world. Or something like that.
I think you should take into account the first one which is 26%. But this 26% are regular movie fanatics.
I think if they did an overload of hated celebrities, it would hit critical mass and people would actually want to see it. Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton and Michael Richards to star in a Mel Gibson film about religions in the inner city. Who wouldn't want to see that?
There's only one move worth seeing this December... <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wBpAMAjP9Mo"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wBpAMAjP9Mo" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I think it will be good. But then again, I own the first four movies and listen to Survivor's Eye of the Tiger, John Cafferty's Hearts on Fire, and Gonna Fly Now nearly everyday (when I run). I have a feeling it will have a similar ending to the first movie...
Definitely. I'm sure they're going to go with the "Grudging respect for going the distance" angle for this one. It wouldn't be very believable if Rocky won. I mean George Foreman won a heavyweight title when he was older, but he didn't exactly knock out a great boxer. In the Rocky world, this Mason Dixon character is supposed to be one the best ever and a worthy adversary for Rocky in his prime. Not to mention that Stallone just turned 60 years old earlier this year, while Foreman was 46 when he won his title.
ehhh....I might see it when it's on DVD. Then again, since movie tickets are only $4.00 in College Station.....I might just go see it if I have nothing else to do. Beer and a movie ticket for $7.00.....I LOVE IT!
Just one word: Amazing. I saw the movie last night and it was a testament to the human will. Its use of foreshadowing and the graphic depiction of mayan society was breathtaking. The view of Tikal (in Guatemala) coming out of nowhere in the jungle was amazing and the beginnings of disease and the Europeans was a strong subplot. Great Movie. Two Thumbs WAAAY UP.
Dang, lots of good movies this year. The Departed, Apocalypto, Borat, Casino Royale, and of course Snakes on a Plane.
