    And yet we have spent some $7 trillion in defense since 1950. That isn't wasteful?

    We keep making enemies...we keep expanding our empire by slapping them Ay-rabs and Moo-slims around...we deliberately keep our people ill-educated, especially minorities...

    Priorities in this country are way out of whack.

    I'm all for tax cuts but they don't make any sense unless spending cuts are made.

    I'm going to start a poll... watch for it.

    The post above answered it all. If the money used for the tax cuts was applied toward the debt, it would make real progress to cutting spending.
