    I agree Saleem,

I think Rudy probably thought of the team first before himself like he always does.

My favorite part of the first year with Yao was how Rudy made Yao feel welcome with a thanksgiving diner with the team.

For us Rocket fans like you and me, Rudy T is always a Rocket. And if he's rooting for team cause he's their scout (not the GM or head coach), I don't see why that would upset anyone. except people who don't know crap about the Rockets.

my bad, so Rudy T's tenure with the Rockets was almost as long as your sister's age and certainly longer than your age.

i guess you can't comprehend that type of commitment to an organization.

I think what scola4president said was really dumb.

But is it really worth starting two threads to attack him?

    It is the offseason...
But it was just like two posts.
Maybe he can just repent and we can aaaaaaaalll just go home.

    i wish... he ain't repenting.

rudy is a scout for the Lakers. he can't go out and say our boys and refer to us or michigan. it's just called being respectful for the team you are under now.

You mean "Get the f--- ball to Hakeem!"?

That pretty much sums up his coaching philosophy and his entire contribution to the Rockets in the 90's.

I wish I could say I revered him, but the only thing he did was not screw up a good thing.

what two threads? there's another thread with just facts and articles.

showing the success story of how rudy t came back, like the teams he coached that battled adversity and elimination.

    heart of a champion!

So I notice that Scola4President was angry that Rudy T didn't even mention the Spurs.

    Well, its PAYBACK.

David Robinson didn't mention Hakeem when he was across the court when he mentioned other great MVPs.

you know what happened next Rocket fans?

Would Celtic fans diss Red Auerbach?
Would Laker fans diss Pat Riley?
Would Bulls fans diss Phil Jackson?

    We must protect this house!
