Who's better Pac or Fiddy? The question revolves around music. I think 50 is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than Tupac. Many people regard 2Pac as the best rapper ever and so and so. Rap is my favorite kind of music, believe me, I know all about what both are about. Who's music sounds better to me, though - that's easily 50 Cent. Everyone has different tastes and likes different things in music, so there is no need to crap on someone who doesn't go along with the majority and say Tupac is better. 50's music sounds better to me, plain and simple. Tupac is a great rapper, I like him, but his beats are just too old school for me. Almost all of 50's are just sick, and I love his music. G-G-G-G-G-G G UNIT! Don't let the hatas bring ya down Fiddy!
50 makes good music, but Pac was/is so much better in my opinion. Pac's music had so many layers and levels whereas 50 is allabout one thing:"I got shot so I must be legit". I just dont see how 6 people woted for 50 unless they were MTVers.
Damn, this poll is about to reach Reagan/Mondale status pretty soon. I'll vote for 50 Cent just so I can say I was cool and went against the norm...
Actually hearing him and his crew say "GE GE GE GE GEEE UUUU NIT" was enough for them to get on my d*mn nerves It was frankly one of the stupidest things I ever heard Rocket River 'The record skips the record skips the record skips . . . zzzzerrrrrp The Record Skips cause my voice is kind of Scratchy" - Boots from the Coup
Wasn't he just a dancer for them? I don't remember him doing anything vocally, but I do remember him in a few videos.
I'm the biggest Tupac fan and to me 50 Cent doesnt even come close to Tupac but I've heard them being compare so I was just seeing how it lines up in this forum. And there's 6 Votes for 50 Cents You can still listen to Tupac's music 10 yrs from now and it'll still have meanings but 50 Cent's music is only for the moment . (Try playing IN DA CLUB or WANKSTA now and it'll be old sh**t)
While this maybe true, you have to remember that Dr.Dre produces his music. The better poll should read who is a better lyricist, and that would be a no brainer. Tu Pac hands down.
This poll is a travesty. Anyone who voted for 50 should be shot to death in a car in honor of Pac. 50 had one good album, his debut, which with the help of amazing producers, and guest rappers was probably one of the best albums of the decade. He's turned into a walking drama queen since then, incapable of making a song that doesn't talk about taking b****es to candy stores or some stupid **** like that. He's become nearly as much of a joke as his nemesis (one of many) Ja Rule.
To me 50 doesnt have the same kind of emotion that tupac puts in his music. You can take a Tupac song, and play it today, and people will remember when they first heard it on the radio, and how the lyrics had substance and spoke to them. The way he puts his words together, his emotion and anguish, you can feel it coming out of his music. Thats why tupac is considered one of the best rappers of all time. I like 50, i think he does his thing well, but when i hear him rap, i dont feel anything from his music, atleast not yet. 50 kinda sounds the same in each song, only with a different background. He does get some beats, but most are from Dre and Em. Tupac didnt have dre until the later years of his rap life. Mabye its just me, but todays music seems more beat driven than lyrically. People listen to music becuase of the beats and background, and the rapping comes as an afterthought. Back then producers needed hot rappers to make their tracks. Now, it seems like rappers need hot producers to make a hit single. To Each His Own. Mine will be Tupac.
Contrary to popular belief, just because a rapper cares more about making money than the actual "game", doesn't mean he sucks or is worst than someone who cares for the game. With that said, Pac did more for rap than 50 ever could. Tupac blew up big time after he died -- I don't think 50 could do the same. There's too many rappers now days that could replace 50, back then it was only Pac.
