    How are they even comparable?

It's apples and oranges you are trying to compare.

Melo. And he is younger. He was a good fit in Denver, mediocre fit in New York.

    Pau Gasol

Which player would you rather have on your team? Which player contributes more to winning?

Strange question, completely depends on the teammates and coach.

Lakers added Gasol, won 2 championships. Knicks added Melo, got worse.

Gasol. Fab Melo has not played a game in the NBA yet.

Weird question. They don't even play the same position. I guess it would depend on who else is on the team with them. If you're asking who I'd rather play for the Rockets, the answer is Gasol.

Right now Gasol and it's not even close. Just watch them play lately and you'll see a guy playing like an all-star and another guy playing like a guy that barely looks like a starter
