A taquito and a quesadilla are two completely different things.

And they were tiny. That isn't going to fill you up.

    That's why it's an appetizer.

Fatty, I think your impression is a little on the negative side, but mostly spot on. In terms of food, it is definitely hit or miss. Some things are freaking amazing, some better then others, some blah. Which is true of a lot of places, but I think you're right, at those prices, it should all at least be decent with multiple stand out dishes. I think there are multiple stand out dishes, but not enough, and couldn't remember which they were - so they don't stand out that much.

That said, I've always found the drinks there to be really good (as opposed to whomever said drinks were OK). I guess in today's era of inventive drinks, maybe it's nothing special, but I liked the tequila flights / options, thought the margaritas were great, etc.

Totally agree. The good dishes are great, but there are some below average and you shouldn't have that when paying an average of $20 a meal. The ritas are awesome though.

let me guess...the dinner salad could hardly be considered a full dinner too, right?

I like the assorted nuts they give for free at the tables, but they are hardly a meal. Hugos sucks.
