Rob Thomas & Adam Gaynor from matchbox twenty. I got to meet them after one of their concerts and they were really cool guys. I got them to autograph my limited edition "mad season by matchbox twenty" cd.

I remember when the astros played in the astrodome. me and my dad would go to the visitors side of the bus and get a lot of different autographs. I have Luis Gonzalez, Jose Lima, Woody Williams, that baserunner for the astros who would always pinch run in the 8th or 9th in the late 90's. Randy Johnson waved at us. Raul Mondesi was to busy for an autograph. Ray King, some pitsburgh pirate.

Let's see if I can remember...

    Names of more noteriety:
    Nolan Ryan
Robert Reid (met him in the food court of Sharpstown mall... in like '85)
Kenny Smith (at his old shop in Sugarland)
    Cynthia Cooper (at Kenny's shop)
Earl Campbell (I know I met him, so I'm sure there's an autograph somewhere in my junk)
Bum Phillips (when he had his old place on HWY 6 before Sugarland jumped the shark... now there are extra lanes of traffic where his front yard was)
Warren Moon (first at a game, then again at an eyemasters in Sugarland, then after another game, then training camp, then one of the benefits at the Astrohall -finally got it on a rookie card!)
    Mike Barber
Carl Lewis (got his sister Carol's too -while at a Rockets game in the Summit)
    Ray Childress (at the Summit)
Haywood Jeffires (at Oshman's in Lake Jackson's Brazos Mall- Oshman's is long gone)
Curtis Duncan (came to our highschool)
    Ernest Givens
    Mike Munchak
    Bruce Matthews
    Al Smith
    Bo Orlando
    Bubba McDowell
    Chris Dishman
    Eugene Seals
    Commander Cody Carlson
    Bucky Richardson
    Coach Buddy Ryan
    Coach Jack Pardee
    Coach Kevin Gilbride
...countless other former Oilers I can't remember off hand.

    Less known nation wide(I guess):
Crazy Ray (the famous guy dressed as a Cowboy at all home games in Texas Stadium) -most recent too... I didn't ask him to sign my preseason Cowboys mag (I was there to see Jerry Rice as a Raider) but dude grabbed it and signed the cover! He carried his own stash of sharpies! :D
Moby -no, not the techno music geek, the former 97 Rock DJ in Houston (got it at an Astros game)
Willie Drewery - brief Oilers wide reciever, also got it at an Astros game
Alonzo Highsmith - Astros game, after he turned boxer
Spencer Tillman -post Oilers, post 49er's SuperBowl ring, KPRC sportsdesk guy

I kinda quit around the time I met my wife... other things( ;) ) became more important to me!

    umm.

I don't care too much for autographs.

But I did get an autograph of Joseph Kahn

    He's a music video director.

I think he's trying to direct, the live action transformer movie.

Yes it really is, in the meaning of the word...

    au·tog·ra·phy

    NOUN:

    1. The writing of something in one's own handwriting.
    2. Autographs considered as a group.

I don't usually like asking for autographs; I feel like a huge idiot for asking someone to sign something just because other people will recognize it. Still, I have a couple.

My only sports autograph is Nolan Ryan, although I don't know if it's even actually authentic. Good enough, in any case.

For music, I have the ag of Max Cavalera of Sepultura/Nailbomb/Soulfly semi-fame from when I met him at Ozzfest 2000. Really shy guy, I don't think he liked interacting with his fans much.

I also have two autographs by Henry Rollins, who is my personal hero. I have an autographed poser from his (****ing awesome) book "Get in the Van," which is probably my most prized possession. I also have one of his books autographed to me personally. The best part was, I didn't ask for the autographs... I merely ordered the items from his website and he happened to have been kind enough to sign them before they were mailed. Rad.
