I think it's wrong because it's lame as hell. It's a display he's making, during non-playing time. Nevermind that if it did occur during game time, it would result in an immediate score for the other team. I'm still waiting for someone to call KG out by saying "nice goaltend" or "two points" when he does that. I don't know what you're referring to here, or what it has to do with what I said. The incident I'm referring to is KG punching Rick Rickert during practice for setting "hard picks." Even though the pick setting player is stationary, and the only way it hits hard is if you run into it hard yourself. Ultimate douche.
I don't see what the big deal about it is. It's not like anyone is doing it for a completely pointless reason. They do it so the player who shot the ball doesn't make it and begin to feel a rhythm going. It's actually a pretty smart tactic if you ask me.
Jason Terry is the biggest douche on the basketball court. But off the court I'm sure most NBA players are all cool people. So much LeBron hate but everyone would love to have him on their team. Our culture thrives on jealousy and its disgusting.
So very true. You would think some of these posters were personally done wrong by how they speak about these NBA players. Many posters hate on Lebron, but lets keep in mind this board was blowing its load over a whiff of Morey speaking with Bosh/Amare. Clutch will have to get more bandwidth if there is ever an espn rumor where Lebron, Houston, and destination are used in the same sentence.
Stern has his goods and bad in the NBA. His marketing is great but I simply hate how he takes away players emotions. I understand players complains a lot but the no reaction rule after a call is just ridiculous. I think players should be able to react naturally to calls especially in the playoffs when everything is so intense.
I have no problem with Lebron. He was kind of a dick for leaving Cleveland, but if I could put myself in his shoes, I would have done the exact same thing.
By business standards he is the most successful. He successfully streamlined globalization of the game. But yeah, he'll do whatever it takes to generate revenue for the NBA; including rigging games and disrespecting the beauty of the sport.
