I don't think Pops will coach that many more years. He looks worn out.

I guess you can now admit Porter was a hinderance when it came to winning because he sucks at being a PG. Head honcho, my ass. He blew at getting everyone involved. Yeah his shooting got better. Porter was an ass at practice apparently and moped in games. He sucked as a leader.

Can you talk some sense in to Bobby now?

Silas didn't get a raw deal. There's only 30 jobs available in the NBA as a head coach and he was given one. He proceeded to do terribly.

Expectations? The expectations for Silas were really low.

He won 17, 20 and 22 games the last three years.

What do you think the expectation should be for Silas?

Also two things can be true at the same time........

I agree with you that Silas got a raw deal. He had a meddling GM that felt he could decide who played, how much, how the team should play and that he should decide on punishment etc.... that is bush league by Stone, but Silas also didn't often stand up for himself....... and he just didn't do a good job with what he controlled.

So I thing Silas got a raw deal and didn't do a good job -

Personally, I'm shocked that the Spurs won as many games as they did. They really should of been in competition for the worst record of all time looking at that roster.

    I'm glad you asked.

Keldon Johnson was the #29 pick in the draft a few years ago, and he continued to improve every season for the SPURS and now at 23 years old is a 22/5/3 player. Devin Vassell was a late lottery pick a few years ago and he also continues to make solid improvement from year to year. He was close to 20/4/4 this year and has become a productive player. Jeremy Sochan was the #11 pick in this last draft, and was very very raw. Still, he exceeded expectations as a rookie and appears to have a bright future.

Is there a character limit here? I could write a ton about how Silas screwed up this team. Now some of it may be on Stone. However, Silas could have been a man and stood up. If he got fired so be it. Do you think other teams don't know what was going on here? Silas screwed up his career by staying longer than he should have if Stone was interfering so much. If Stone wasn't then Silas just sucks. Maybe it is a combination of both.

Nix. Okay maybe Stone was pressuring Silas to play Nix. At some point Silas has to stand up and play TyTy just to see what you have.

KPJ. "Look Raf. I don't have anyone to teach KPJ to play PG. I know you want this to happen, but he has never played this position and someone has to teach him"

Jabari. Silas thought it was a good idea to run absolutely no plays for him?

Sengun. Who effing knows what Silas was thinking about him?

Absolutely no discipline. The kids screw up, you pull them, coach them, send them back out, repeat as necessary.

The list goes on and on.
