Coming into the year we all knew that Rafer was NOT a spot up shooter. He thrives in open court situations and freelance...something he was not allowed to do in JVG's offense. Adelman on the other hand was known to be a little more flexible and I think Rafer has responded to being allowed to create and shoot off the dribble more. I don't think it is a coincidence at all. Go look at Alston's stats from Toronto where he was allowed to run the show and they are eerily similar.
For some reason, ever since moestavern19 has said "ALL DAY, THAT'S ALL DAY, BABY" when Rafer squares up to shoot (at first he was saying it sarcastically), he's been extremely impressive shooting the ball. Continue surprising us, Skip!
I used to cringe at Rafer playing 40+ minutes, now I find myself screaming for Adelman to get BJax off the court and insert Alston. BTW Jackson picks up his dribble like a girl.
so moestavern is the one banging Skip? And he even says ALL DAY, THAT'S ALL DAY, BABY, when Rafer "shoots"? NICE.
I would not trade Rafer for Pau Gasol. Maybe even not for Kobe Bryant. Maybe I will only trade Rafer if BOTH of them are offered
EXACTLY. My boyfriend is the reason Skip is playing so well, and therefore he is the reason for the streak. :]
Good point. We need a plan in place for this. How about: for getting out of the first round, we match her IRA/401K contributions 1:1. Get to WCF and we extend the match to after-tax contributions. Win WCF and we cover a 10% house downpayment. For winning the whole thing ... dinner with Clutch?
LMAOOOOOOO! DUDE THIS POST MADE ME ACTUALLY USE "LOL" TO ITS FULL EXTENT! . . I WAS ACTUALLY LAUGHING OUT LOUD HAHAHA!
